Spring Fever

So Spring has sprung and my annual mild bout of mania has struck, the upside was that I made a snap decision to go to London for a Pinboard meet up and while it was very pleasing to meet Maciej who seems in person like the funny, polymath, stand-up guy he is on the internet, and there were also some other fascinating people there, the real news was that it also turned out to be my first ever fandom meet-up eeeeh!

It's funny how emotions catch you by surprise and the joy at drawing two actual live fans together and saying "Here, let me show you my fandom" was intense.  Meeting your people, ay ay.
